Back lanes open up to our gardens, fields, orchards and farms from where we return with the simple, fresh and authentic ingredients of life and cuisine.

While back lanes can connect us, they mainly give us the notion of 'place': especially a place where we can escape the pace of routine.

They are a perfect third place for conversation, play and meals with family, friends and colleagues.

At the Back Lane Café we pursue the joyful art of cuisine by cooking over live woodfire hearths. Our imagination tells us that this art started with just two elements: food and fire. Imagine the first time the first cook tasted this combination!!

Our adventure is exploring the art of cuisine. Our reward comes from discovering it, crafting it and sharing it with neighbours and guests.
